For a new blogger, coming up with a blog name that reflects who you are and what your blog is about can be a real challenge.

1. Something related to your blog topic
Your blog name can be something related to what you want to blog about. Start writing down a few words about your blog and see if something comes up.
It is easier to become an authority blog for a particular niche if your blog name is the topic itself.

Noah Kagan’s blog is all about business, marketing, and personal development tips. Apart from the fact that he has a team of dorks who helps him write content, his blog name is not related to the topic.

Bryan Harris’ blog is all about list building and business growth. He started this blog to teach people how to USE and to MAKE video in your business but ended up switching topics.
For years his blog name is totally unrelated to his blog. It took him quite some time before he decided to change its domain name to GrowthTools.com
3. Use another language
I used this strategy a lot when I’m thinking of a brand name. I have this thing for another language brand name. For example, I used to have a blog name called Kunde which means “client” in German.
Use Google Translate to come up with a unique blog name. Choose something short with fewer syllables to keep your blog name easy to remember.
4. Use Thesaurus for a catchy name
Another way to come up with new words is by using Thesaurus. Thesaurus can be a gold mine of inspiration when you wanted to say something in a slightly different way.

If you can’t come up with a blog name, you might want to mix and match some keywords using a blog name generator?

7. Use your own name
If you’re still struggling to come up with a blog name and run out of ideas, always remember that you can use your own name!
I actually chose this route because when I got started, I don’t know exactly what I wanted to blog about.
Back then, I wanted to turn this blog (valeriedeveza.com) into a lifestyle/travel blog but I ended up writing about marketing and blogging. LOL!
