What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels is an all-in-one online sales and marketing platform founded by Russell Brunson. Since 2014, it has become one of the leading landing pages and sales funnel builder. It has quickly caught up with its veteran competitors like Unbounce and Leadpages.

What can you do inside ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels has way too many features to mention in this review. I’ll be going over some of the most popular ones.

1. Create landing pages with a drag and drop editor

We all know how much time it takes to create a website especially if you have no design or coding background.

ClickFunnels allows you to set up a website in a few hours with its page builder.

It has a drag and drop editor which makes designing your landing pages easy. You can further customize it to your liking with available page elements that you can place on the page.

Ready-to-use funnel templates

ClickFunnels removes the painful part of building all these pages from scratch.

If you don’t have the time to build a landing page from scratch, they have pre-built templates available.

You can create any type of page online, such:

  • Squeeze page
  • Video sales page
  • Bridge page
  • Opt-in page
  • Webinar page
  • Checkout page
  • and more ready for use…

Now all you have to do is select a template and customize it the way you want.

2. Share your funnel

The Share Funnel feature allows you to share a funnel you created by giving them a share link. This is very handy when doing collaborative work inside the platform.

It is also a popular way for affiliate marketers to promote the platform.

3. Create membership sites

ClickFunnels makes it easy for course creators to build and host their content.

You can set up a membership area that grants members exclusive access to premium content.

The only downside is that you have to host your video outside using another platform (eg. YouTube).

4. Capture, Manage and Nurture Email List

ClickFunnels can capture, manage and nurture your leads all within the platform.

Retargeting is also made easy inside ClickFunnels with the Automation tab. It allows you to keep in touch with your audience by setting up an automated email sequence.

Actionetics

Actionetics is an integrated email service provider. It is an add on that allows you to capture and follow up your leads with a more customized approach.

Like other autoresponders, you can set up specific rules and send out email sequences.

This is good for those who want everything done in one place. I don’t personally use it since I use Convertkit as my email provider.

5. Sell your products

ClickFunnels has a full shopping cart feature so you can set up and sell your product in a few minutes. All you need to do is add a product and write your product description.

It’s also easy to sell physical products as they have eCommerce sites (e.g Shopify) integrated.

One-click upsells and downsells

This feature lets you offer extra products and services to your customers without asking them to re-enter their credit card info.

6. Create an affiliate program with Backpack

Another way to generate more leads and scale your business is to set up an affiliate program. It’s easy to set it up inside ClickFunnels with the Backpack feature.

You only need to set up your product in your sales funnel and make it available for your affiliates to promote.

Backpack allows you to customize your affiliate’s dashboard and commission structure.

7. Host webinars

Thinking of launching an online event to teach, pitch and sell your products?

With Clickfunnels, you can host live and evergreen webinars from scratch. They got you covered from registration, perfect webinar script, broadcasting to replay.

They also have a webinar funnel template to make sure your event becomes successful.

What do I love about ClickFunnels?

1. Ease of Use.

ClickFunnels is a great all-in-one marketing platform. It’s very simple to use even for those who don’t have a technical background.

I love the fact that I can select a template or share funnel that I want and start from there. No need for me to start from scratch.

I also love that their visual editor makes it so easy for me and my virtual assistant to customize my sales pages. Hands down!

2. Free training (Funnel Flix) is amazing

Want to level up as a marketer? Then you should take advantage of the Funnel Flix program.

Funnel Flix is Russell’s huge collection of training and courses inside ClickFunnels.

Here are some of the free courses and training available inside Funnel Flix:

3. ClickFunnels Affiliate Program

ClickFunnels is one of the best and legit affiliate programs I know. I’ve been promoting them for a year now and I’ve made about $5000. That’s an extra $200-400 a month. I’m not even active yet!

They offer 30% recurring commissions for every referral you make. You also get 30% commissions by promoting other ClickFunnels products like:

They also have free training for their affiliates called Affiliate Bootcamp. This training teaches you how to effectively promote ClickFunnels.

Are there other alternatives to ClickFunnels?

Not sure if ClickFunnels is the marketing platform for your business? Here are some alternatives worth looking into.

Builderall

Builderall is another all-in-one marketing platform used by entrepreneurs and marketers right now. It’s also cheaper than its top competitor ClickFunnels which may be a great alternative if you are on a budget.

Sign up for their free trial and see which one better fits your needs.

Leadpages

Leadpages is a landing page builder and lead generation software. It’s very simple to use. You may not find as many features offered by ClickFunnels though.

Feel free to check it out though in case it’s exactly what you may need for your business at the moment.

Instapage

Instapage is like Leadpages – cloud-based, easy to use, and cheaper than ClickFunnels. What makes it stand out is its drag and drop editor that lets you place elements anywhere on your landing page.

Kartra

While it’s fairly new in the industry, Kartra is also an all-in-one marketing platform. Kartra and ClickFunnels have a lot of similarities with a bit of difference in some of their process.

I recommend checking each of them out and see which one better fits your needs.

SamCart

SamCart stands out from among this list as the best checkout platform for your business. While it’s also a marketing platform, this may be more suitable for those who are in the eCommerce industry.

Unbounce

Unbounce is another landing page builder that came way before ClickFunnels. It’s easy to use, especially for those who have no coding background. If you’re looking for an alternative that is cheaper, this platform is worth a shot.
