Modern and friendly design, easy on the eyes
The dashboard is not overwhelming and intimidating at all. This is an important factor to consider when using a platform that caters to business owners. Especially if you are not too tech-savvy.
For those who are just starting out, having these proven-to-convert templates are helpful.
What I don’t like much about Kartra
Limited available integrations
Because Kartra is fairly new, there are currently limited native integrations available. You may need to use Zapier most of the time to connect to other platforms. The good news though is they’re constantly growing their network and are sure to have more integrations available soon.
Slow load times
Yup. This is actually common feedback within the Kartra community. Sometimes Kartra is slow to load and can be a bit buggy.
While Kartra has its own video hosting platform, you may want to consider the bandwidth that comes with the plan you will sign up for. Each time someone views your video, it takes up bandwidth.
This is something you should regularly check if you don’t want to be overcharged $0.19 per extra GB of bandwidth. This is something you shouldn’t worry about if your videos are fairly short. But for webinars, use a different platform like EverWebinar, Wistia or Youtube.

Ontraport is also very similar to Kartra. It’s slightly more expensive but is definitely still worth looking into. They also offer a trial run so feel free to check it out.
For online course creators, Teachable may be a better alternative. It is also an all-in-one marketing platform but caters to hosting and selling online courses.
Thinkific is another great marketing platform for online course creators. It has similar features and pricing plans with Teachable. They have slight differences in site customization and marketing.
For those in the eCommerce niche, Shopify may be a better alternative. It’s one of the leading eCommerce platforms in the industry. It is a great platform for business owners who are selling physical products.
Does Kartra have an affiliate program?
Yes, they do. You can sign up to be a Kartra affiliate once you upgrade to any of their paid plans. They offer a 40% commission from every successful sale and recurring payment from your referrals and a 10% commission for JV partners.

I’m switching everything over to Kartra. How do I go about this?
